Pacnet Business Secure Firewall has two main security features
Controls the types of inbound and outbound traffic passing through your connection.
Offers three inbound application filtering options depending on your network requirements.
Web – Block/allow traffic to your web server
Mail – Block/allow traffic to your mail server
SSH – Block/allow SSH traffic to your connection
Offers three Outbound Traffic settings
Standard – Allows users to surf the web, check email, transfer files, remotely connect to servers/computers, and use all other IP protocols.
Office – Allows users to surf the web, check email and transfer files. Excludes remote access to servers/computers, instant messaging and all other IP protocols.
Remote – Allows users to surf the web, check email and transfer files and remotely connect to servers/computers. Excludes access to all other IP protocols.

Inspects all inbound/outbound network traffic, identifies and blocks dangerous or suspicious patterns of traffic (IDS signatures). We offer three levels of intrusion detection:
Total – All IDS signatures are blocked including those not necessarily considered an attack.
Active – Only IDS signatures considered an attack are blocked.
No IDS – No IDS signatures are blocked. IDS is disabled.
